Milk is a valuable food product necessary for people of any age. It contains all elements important for human body development: proteins, fats, milk sugar, vitamins, etc. Our Dairy Plant produces several types of milk, ranging by fat mass fraction and shelf life.
The heat treatment of milk (pasteurization and ultra-pasteurization) is aimed at avoiding the process of souring of milk when it is stored at home. Heat treatment helps to destroy microorganisms and their spores.
Bactofugation is a modern technique to remove micro flora from milk, including removal of spores, somatic cells and other types of contamination.
The production lines of our Dairy Plant has special bacteria separators or bactofugeurs installed on. This equipment is rather expensive and few enterprises can afford to have it.
Our factory produces two types of milk – pasteurized, with 14 day shelf life, and ultra-pasteurized, with 6 month shelf life.
Due to the complex solution of installing of modern equipment, buying high quality raw milk from local farms and using modern packaging the milk of The PC “Vologda Dairy Plant” has long shelf life confirmed by accredited laboratories.
Product composition: whole milk, skimmed milk.
