On July 21, 2020 a new item appeared in the range of products on our Vologda Dairy Plant – a milkshake with the pina colada flavor. It contains milk, natural pineapple juice concentrate and high-quality natural pineapple and coconut flavors. The milkshake is traditionally packed in a consumer-friendly tetra-pack with a lid. Nowadays we have 7 various items in the milkshake line.
The heat treatment of milk (pasteurization and ultra-pasteurization) is aimed at avoiding the process of souring of milk when it is stored at home. Heat treatment helps to eliminate microorganisms and their spores.
Bactofugation is a modern technique to remove micro flora from milk, including removal of spores, somatic cells and other types of contamination.
The production lines of our Dairy Plant has special bacteria separators or bactofugeurs installed on. This equipment is rather expensive and few enterprises can afford to have it.
Today our plant produces two types of milk – pasteurized with a shelf life of 14 days and ultra-pasteurized with a shelf life of 6 months.
Due to the complex solution of installing of modern equipment, buying high quality raw milk from local farms and using modern packaging the milk of The PC “Vologda Dairy Plant” has long shelf life confirmed by accredited laboratories.
It is recommended to shake the package before use.
