The regional tasting commission has determined the most delicious butter. As part of the monitoring of the dairy market, 7 samples of butter from 6 Vologda producers were tested.

Expert tasters assessed the samples by organoleptic properties: the appearance of the butter - its color, consistency, as well as taste and smell. They noted the high quality of the products of local producers.

1st place - PC "Vologda Dairy Plant", butter From Vologda "Vologda",
2nd place - JSC "Educational and Experimental Dairy Plant" VGMHA named after N.V. Vereshchagin, peasant butter From Vologda,
3rd place - OJSC "Severnoye Moloko", peasant butter “Reznoy Palisad.”

All 7 samples of butter were sent for further research to the laboratory, where their quality characteristics will be determined and a final conclusion will be given on which butter is the best.

We shall remind that the top three manufacturers presented their dairy products at the International Exhibition "Prodexpo-2024" and became gold medalists of the International Competition "Best Product-2024".

In addition, PC "Vologda Dairy Plant" also submitted Vologda butter. at the Competition of Dairy Product Quality, which was held in Uglich at the All-Russian Research Institute of Butter and Cheese Making, a branch of the Federal Scientific Center of Food Systems named after V.M. Gorbatov of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of the National Union of Milk Producers as part of the International Dairy Week.

According to the results of the competition, VOLOGDA BUTTER won the GRAND PRIX.

This is the second GRAND PRIX in 2024 received by PC "Vologda Dairy Plant" for the high quality of its products.
